We didn’t envision current events when we set out to plan this exhibition and its associated programming. The pandemic has altered people’s lives in profound ways. As artists making socially concerned work all of us have had to change our practices in terms of both making and presenting work.

Most of us make work that in normal times requires research out in the world if not making out in person. Moderator, Leslie Sobel posed a series of questions to artists, Sto Len, Desiree Duell and Paul Hickman, like; 1.) How has the pandemic altered how you make work? 2.) In terms of climate centric work what has changed for you? 3.) How do you integrate being an artist and an activist? The conversation was lively and extremely enlightening.
